KENNETH GEORGE HALVORSEN
OCTOBER 17, 1959, TO
DECEMBER 4, 2008
It is with great sadness that
we announce the passing of
Ken Halvorsen on Thursday,
December 4, 2008.
Ken will be deeply missed
by his wife, Louise; his
children, Tyler and Marie-
Soleil; his parents, George
and Alice Halvorsen; his
sister, Diana (Gregg) Collis
and family; and his cousins,
Mitch (Pat) Chychul and
family, Jeannie (Rick)
Kwasnycia and family and
Ken Chychul and family. He
will also be missed by his
many close friends and his
music students at Ecole
Beausoleil in Okotoks.
Ken was a good father and
a good teacher. He will be
remembered for his love of
music and his willingness to
help others.
A celebration of Ken's life
was held on Tuesday,
December 9, 2008, at 2:00
p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral
Homes (Okotoks), 200
Woodgate Road. In memory
of
Ken,
Memorial
contributions may be made to
a trust fund set up at the
Royal Bank in Okotoks for
Ken's children. Arrangements
